Colne Valley Golf Club is working in partnership with Coastal Golf Academy to create the most exciting, innovative and successful Junior Section in Essex.

By creating a fun and enjoyable environment with lots of coaching and playing opportunities, we believe our Junior Section supports children looking to just have fun through to those hoping to make golf a potential career.

Our aims in the Junior Section are

Coastal Squads

Our Coastal Squads scheme is the ideal introduction for boys and girls aged 6–12 who are new to golf or ready to improve. It follows England Golf’s Junior Golf Passport, helping children build skills, grow in confidence, and stay active while enjoying a sport for life. Budding golfers are guided through essential techniques, preparing them for on-course play and junior club membership.

Girls Golf on Par

Girls Golf on Par is designed just for girls aged 6–12 and offers a supportive space to develop golf skills, build confidence, and stay active. Lessons follow the same format as our Coastal Squads and use England Golf’s Junior Golf Passport, but with the added benefit of an all-girl group. Every participant also receives a free US Kids 7 iron and a goodie pack to support their golfing journey.

Holiday Camps

Our junior golf camps are perfect for boys and girls aged 6–12 looking for fun during school holidays. Held year-round, camps include a mix of full and half-day options, combining professional coaching with games, activities, and on-course experience. Campers enjoy learning golf in a relaxed setting while developing skills, confidence, and a love for the game.
