Colne Valley Golf Club

Once again, a very good day was had at Colne Valley. All our members enjoyed the breakfast, the course conditions, and the helpfulness of the staff. The only problem was the quality of the golf played by some of our number, including me! Many thanks again, and we look forward to a return to Colne Valley very soon!

We had an excellent day and many of our number have told me how much they enjoyed themselves. I don’t remember having a better bacon roll in any golf club (!), the course was in excellent condition while the service and the food was also top-notch. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and accommodating from when I first made contact with you until we left. Please pass on the thanks of everyone from the party to all involved. I am sure we will be back!

Thank you so much for the hospitality we received on Monday. All of our ladies had a really enjoyable day and commented on how lovely the course was and the excellent food . We even managed to get the weather perfect ! Thank you as well for all your help in organising this event with me, it really was a very memorable day for me and I am so pleased that I chose Colne Valley for my Away Day. Many thanks once again to you and all the staff.

I recently organised a golf day at Colne Valley Golf Club and I cannot fault the course or service one bit. For anyone who has played Colne Valley they will know it is one of the best looked after courses in the region. It’s an immaculate course with a good selection of testing holes and open tee boxes allowing you to get the big stick out! The ham, egg & chips were also delicious after a very enjoyable round of golf! This was the third year running and exactly why we come back – see you next time!

We would like to thank you and the staff for making my 90th Birthday celebration such a success.

The food was delicious and many of our guests commented on the variety and content of the buffet.

All the Staff were attentive helpful, and friendly the moment we arrived!!

May I say what a fantastic day we had at Colne Valley last Thursday. The management of the social distancing rules was excellent as were all the staff who made sure we had everything we needed and that everything ran to schedule. The course was in lovely condition and we all really enjoyed the day. Thanks to you all.

Just a quick note to thank you and your colleagues for the most enjoyable day our Society members had at Colne Valley Golf Club. As the Society Secretary I found booking the venue and meal, then making minor changes all very simple and I thank you for making it so. The coffee and bacon rolls were available on arrival and the meal was served at the arranged time and enjoyed by all. I have been contacted by several members to say how much they enjoyed the day and have been asked to ensure that we revisit Colne Valley in the future.

What a lovely dinner! Very nice starter followed by the most wonderful steak pie accompanied by perfectly cooked vegetables…and then a superb crumble !! Very friendly and obliging staff. A lovely time!!

The course was in very good condition and enjoyed by us all – especially so by those who had not played it before. The food was superb and all the staff must be thanked for their friendliness, there was nothing that was too much trouble. Thank you again, I hope it won’t be too long before we visit Colne Valley Golf Club again.

I would like to thank you and all the staff at Colne Valley for making our day go without a hitch. All the guys enjoyed the day … the only comment was the weather … it was far too hot. The course was in excellent condition and a credit to your ground staff. We look forward to making this a yearly fixture if you will have us back again.

I did want to say a very big thank you to you and your team – we all had the most wonderful lunch.  Everyone loved the venue and for the first time in many years I got emails from members saying how much they enjoyed the food.  Your staff worked tirelessly for 3 hours making sure they had everything just right. They were very professional, efficient and certainly went out of their way to make the event a success.

We really enjoyed our day at Colne Valley. My guess is that most of us are still haunted by your greens – they were wonderful, but difficult. We hope to come back some day, but unfortunately Earls Colne is not around the corner from Denmark.
